
Anthony David Gonzalez was born on the 27th of February, 1976. He is an American football tight end. He played for 17 years with the National Football League. He is considered one of the best tight ends of all time and currently is the NFL's most efficient tight end, in terms of receiving yards as well as receptions by tight ends. Gonzalez is also ranked third in receptions total. Gonzalez began his 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected him in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons for five of his last seasons. Gonzalez quit in 2013 and has been an analyst on football for NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked for CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pros. Gonzalez was famous for his toughness and ability to avoid fumbling. He was a part of 272 of the 272 games in the regular season and only lost two fumbles in 1,327 total touches. In the year 2019 Gonzalez was admitted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
